Huge mahalo to Iris and Pat for keeping the extended ohana and aloha going both on the mainland and in the islands for class of '77. I know how laborious it is to research and produce an event like this, (which is why I flamed out fast after the 10th and 20th I think!) so am eager to see fresh faces for the 40th and catch up on a coupla decades... Just booked my flight and see that we're now at the Westin for Sat. night so am hubbing there too. Looking forward to reflecting on hugs and happiness from a simpler time...See you soon! :) --Amy J.

Not sure if anyone is looking at this anymore, but I am sending this message with great saddness - Clifford Chong recently passed away due to natural causes.  He was living in New Jersey, still a bachelor.  His family will be holding a celebration of life later this year, once the we can gather in larger groups again.  Clifford was a good friend and the best man at my wedding over 21 years ago.  May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of this loss. I just picture Clifford in his aloha shirts, laughing with you, Erik, and the warmth and ease of how you two connected...like there was always some inside joke we weren't privy to; likely smart, reserved w/a little wry wit...

Just a reminder - "SAVE THE DATE" for the 45th 1977 Class Reunion on Fri-Sat October 14-15, 2022. We are in the planning stages and need everyone to respond to the questions, so we know how many of you to expect, if you will need hotel accomodations and if you want extra activities planned for the event.

Tentatively, it will be a 2-day event with a "MEET & GREET" social hour on the evening of FRIDAY OCT 14 and DINNER at a Restaurant/Hotel Ballroom on SATURDAY OCT 15.

For this reunion to be successful, we need everyone to encourage other classmates to register on our website and keep your email address current. We have a Radford Class of 1977 Facebook page so connect to that social media, as we will post updates periodically. 

We still need volunteers, so NO BE SHAME, and email me if you can KOKUA at irisk59@yahoo.com.

Huge mahalo to you Iris for all your hard work trying to rally folks...and to Pat Breault for multiyears prior as well...I will definitely resurface to help coordinate the 50th in Hawaii and hope we can all start touching base with our own ohana to start extracting fresh emails and snail mails to outreach (if Xmas cards are still a thing)...

(p.s. I've been off FB since my folks passed in '17 so miss hearing how everyone's doing, but the datamining and privacy policy where they were literally trying to tap into grief and track my moves made me put them in the "ethically bankrupt" category...I'm still at the same amy@amyjussel.com address and am thinking if anyone has a pro version of Zoom we might start having quarterly or half-year 'mini reunions' w/other class years on either end of ours to start figuring out where people are as well...)
